Live online Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. MST
Dates:  Aug. 25, 2020 – May 11, 2021

Instructor:  Renee Metcalf

Course Description:
Who doesn't like to go on a road trip!  Virtually explore the history and geography of the Southeastern United States and write articles about animals, people, places, and historical and current events.  Learn to write in a gentle and incremental fashion, adding various stylistic devices, sentence variety, and vocabulary for your readership. At the conclusion of the course, students compile their final drafts to create a magazine with a cover, pictures, and other interesting fillers.  Think of yourself as a "real" writer, because you are!

Question:  What if you don't live in that part of the U.S?
Answer:   I don't live in Ireland or Japan, either, but that does not prevent me from being interested in them.  We are often interested in places that are far away or foreign.  If you DO live in that part of the U.S. that will only further enhance your studies.

Tuition:  $45/month or $180/semester
