Course Description: Step into the shoes of literary giants and embark on a transformative journey through classic literature. This class aims to expose students to the profound ideas, universal themes, and enduring characters found in classic works. Students read texts in their historic, literary, and artistic context which results in greater comprehension. Through further investigation of related topics, lively discussions, creative writing exercises, and collaborative projects, students will develop their communication skills, broaden their perspectives, and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty of language. By the end of the course, they will be equipped with the tools to analyze, interpret, and appreciate classic literature for a lifetime.
