The Inspired Scholar, LLC developed out of my passion for young people and education. After homeschooling my own children, I began teaching for local homeschool co-ops, adding classes online in 2013.
My teaching experience involves more than two decades of teaching English to all ages and ability levels. In local home-school co-ops I have taught writing using the IEW method of writing as well as other systems. Currently, I am working on a writing curriculum for elementary. Additionally, I have taught literature, linguistics, and Shakespeare classes which concluded with a full-length performance. I am a fellow learner who understands both the frustrations and joys of learning. My great desire is to see students build their confidence as they excel in their endeavors. When not teaching I enjoy learning more about fashion history, sewing, and historical dance. Education:
